Q: What main materials are used to manufacture this servo valve?
A: The valve body adopts cast alloy steel, the internal spool and sleeve are made of nitrided alloy steel. The valve cover is cast carbon steel, the piston is hardened alloy steel, and it is equipped with spring steel springs and rubber sealing parts including NBR, HNBR and FKM.
Q: I notice there is a matching gasket for this valve. Is it necessary to change the gasket during replacement?
A: Absolutely yes. We strongly recommend using a brand-new gasket every time you install or reinstall the servo valve.
Q: What problems will happen if we reuse the old gasket?
A: The old gasket will lose elasticity after long service. It may deform, crack or get worn out, which will directly cause hydraulic oil leakage.
Q: Will oil leakage from the gasket influence the working performance of the steering servo valve?
A: Of course it will. Oil leakage will reduce hydraulic pressure, make the steering response slow, and even cause the dozer to steer abnormally during operation.
Q: Where is this shim installed?
A: It is placed between mating components in the transmission or powertrain, such as between gear sets, bearing housings, or clutch assemblies, to achieve the correct operational clearances.
