PISTON seals

Piston Seals are used to seal pressurized fluid or air between the piston and the bore in a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder (Dynamic Pressure Sealing).

DOUBLE-ACTING PISTON SEALS
Double-acting Piston Seals are capable of sealing Dynamic pressure from both sides. They are symmetrical and their sealing functions are identical in both directions.

Piston seals prevent pressurized fluid from leaking across the cylinder head as the pressure pushes the piston down the cylinder bore. A single-acting piston seal provides the optimal sealing solution for unidirectional hydraulic systems. A double-acting piston seal is capable of sealing the pressurized fluid from both sides in a bidirectional hydraulic system.
