Summary
HbA1c is related to erythrocyte life span and mean blood glucose level, which is an ideal index to
evaluate the long-term blood glucose control of diabetic patients, and is also closely related to
the occurrence of micro-vascular and macro-vascular complications. With the increase of HbA1c
level, the risk of diabetic retinopathy, renal disease, neuropathy and cardiovascular events
increased correspondingly.
The detection methods include chromatography, electrophoresis, immune-turbidimetry, enzyme
method, etc.
Principle
The reagent can form a double antibody sandwich complex with HbA1c and be detected by
fluorescence detector, so as to achieve the quantitative determination of HbA1c concentration in
the whole blood. The sample to be tested is mixed with buffer solution evenly. HbA1c in the
mixture reacts with the monoclonal antibody of fluorescent labeled mouse against
humanhemoglobin A1c to form an antigen antibody complex. Then, the mixture is added to the
sample hole of the detection card, and the liquid chromatography is applied to the nitrocellulose
membrane. The nitrocellulose membrane is coated with mouse anti human hemoglobin
monoclonal antibody. The antigen antibody complex and the sample are coated with mouse
monoclonal antibody The Hb in the membrane competes with the mouse anti human
hemoglobin monoclonal antibody; therefore, the fluorescence signal of the two antibodies
combined with the corresponding antigen is positively related to the ratio of HbA1c /Hb; the
fluorescence intensity is detected and converted to HbA1c concentration according to the
calibration curve calibrated on the two-dimensional code of the reagent card.
Storage and stability
The test card and buffer should be stored at 2℃～8℃ for 15 months. The test card should be
used within 2 hours after opening. Transportation and storage should be carried out at 2℃~8℃.
