Polyester Resin NH3386 for General Industrial Powder Coating

◇ Applications:

NH3386 is saturated carboxyl polyester resin for applications of polyester/TGIC powder coating system. Because polyester resin has polar groups, the powder loading rate is higher than that of epoxy resin, it is not easy to yellowing during baking, high gloss, good leveling, plump paint film, light color and other characteristics, so it has good decoration. Generally used in refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, instrument housings, bicycles, furniture and other fields.

◇ Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

◇ Application Condition:

Electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Coating film thickness: 50～100μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

◇ Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min

◇ Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec): 260~360

Flow(180℃,mm) :23~28

Gloss(60°):≥85%

Bending(φ1mm): pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: 1H

Impact(50cm): pass

Storage test(40℃,24hr): good
