Powder Coating Resin NH8305 with Excellent Flexibility Bending Resistance 

Applications:

NH8305 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin for polyester/TGIC powder coating system.

Basic features:

Excellent toughness and cold resistance

Excellent impact damping resistance and storage stability

Appearance white or pale yellow transparent flake

Acid number(mgKOH/g): 30～36

Softening point(℃): 103～113

Glass transition temp.(℃): ～60

Melting viscosity(200℃, cone/plate, mPa·s): 5000～8000

Reactivity at 180℃(s, 7% TGIC): 130±40

Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

Application Condition:

Electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Film thickness: 70～90μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min

Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec) 150~300

Horizontal flow:(180℃), mm: 23~27

Gloss(60°): ≥88%

Bending(φ1mm): Pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: ≥1H

Impact (50cm): pass
