Polyester Resin NH3395 TGIC Cure suitable for Heat-transfer Powder Coating

◇ Applications:

NH3395 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin for polyester/TGIC powder coating system. Suitable for heat transfer powder coatings.

The balance between high leveling, high weather resistance and mechanical properties of powder coating was solved through the design of product molecular structure, the screening of monomers and additives and the study of synthesis kinetics;
In this model, we upgraded the formula to achieve the balance between high leveling, weather resistance and mechanical properties of powder coatings.

Reactivity at 180℃(s, 7% TGIC): 150±30

◇ Recommend Formulation for white powder:NH3395—TGIC

◇ Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

◇ Application Condition:

Electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Film thickness: 50～70μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

◇ Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min or 190℃×15min

◇ Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec) 150~230

Horizontal flow (180℃), mm: 23~27

Gloss (60°): ≥85%

Bending(φ1mm): pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: ≥1H

Impact (50cm): pass
