Polyester Resin NH8306 with Excellent Boiling Water Resistance and very Suitable for Dark Color Powder Coating

◇ Applications:

NH8306 is a saturated carboxyl 93/7 polyester resin for polyester/TGIC powder coating system. 

◇ Basic features:

Marvelous boiling water resistance

Small color difference after water-boiling 

Good weathering resistance

Good color retention

Suitable for dark color powder coatings

Appearance white or pale yellow transparent granule

Softening point(℃): 103～113

Glass transition temp.(℃): ～67

Melting viscosity(200℃, cone/plate, mPa·s): 6000～8000

Reactivity at 180℃(s, 7% TGIC): 180～250

◇ Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

◇ Application Condition:

Available for electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Film thickness: 70～90μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

◇ Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min

◇ Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec): 250~350

Horizontal flow:(180℃), mm: 22~25

Gloss(60°): ≥88%

Bending(φ1mm): Pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0
