Durable polyester resin for dry-blended powder coating in low temperature curing

Applications:

NH6381/NH6688 are saturated carboxyl polyester resins for low gloss polyester/primid powder coatings by dry blending procedure.

Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

Blending Extrudate I and II with weight ratio 1:1 before grinding.

Application Condition:

Electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Coating film thickness: 50～80μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

 Curing Requirement: 180℃×15min

Film Properties:

Gloss(60°): ≤40%

Bending(φ2mm): pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: ≥ 1H

Direct Impact Resistance: pass 50kg·cm
