Cost Effective General​ Polyester Resin 93/7 TGIC Cure for Powder Coating

◇ Applications:

   NH3305 is a general and cost-effective saturated carboxyl polyester resin for applications of polyester/TGIC powder coating system. 

In this model, we upgraded the formula to achieve the balance between high leveling, weather resistance, anti-yellowing and mechanical properties of powder coatings.

Softening point(℃) 105～115

Glass transition temp.( ℃) ～65

Melting viscosity(200℃, cone/plate, mPa·s): 4600～6200

Reactivity at 180℃(s, 8% TGIC) 160～280

◇ Recommend Formulation:NH3305—TGIC

◇ Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃ Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

◇ Application Condition:

Coating film thickness: 50～100μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

◇ Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min

◇ Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec): 260~360

Horizontal flow(180℃,mm): 25-30

Gloss (60°): ≥85%

Bending (φ1mm): pass

Adhesive (1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: ≥1H

Impact (50cm): pass
