Polyester Resin NH8305 with Excellent Flexbility, Bending and Impact Resistance

◇ Applications:

NH8305 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin for polyester/TGIC powder coating system. It is suitable for all kinds of industrial repair, filling, bonding, etc. The product has strong resistance to mechanical bending and cold and hot impact.

Outstanding toughness and coldness resistance

Excellent impact damping resistance and storage stability

Appearance: white or pale yellow transparent flake

Softening point(℃): 103～113

Glass transition temp.(℃): ～60

Melting viscosity(200℃, cone/plate, mPa·s): 5000～8000

Reactivity at 180℃(s, 7% TGIC): 130±40

◇ Extrusion Condition:

Two-screw extruder

Zone I: 90～110℃   Zone II: 110～120℃

Speed of revolution: 500～1200rpm

Fineness of powder: ＜100μm

◇ Application Condition:

Electrostatic spraying with: 40～70KV

Film thickness: 70～90μm

Degreased cold-rolled steel 0.5mm

◇ Curing Requirement: 200℃×10min

◇ Film Properties:

Gel time(180℃,sec): 150~300

Horizontal flow:(180℃), mm: 23~27

Gloss(60°): ≥88%

Bending(φ1mm): Pass

Adhesive(1mm,grade): 0

Pencil hardness: ≥1H

Impact (50cm): pass
