This defoaming masterbatch is an innovative functional additive specifically engineered to address persistent moisture-related foaming issues during the processing of PS (polystyrene) products. Formulated using nanotechnology, it incorporates inorganic nano-powders and moisture-absorbing agents into an organic polymer base, resulting in a uniformly dispersed organic-inorganic nanocomposite masterbatch.

When blended into the plastic matrix, it effectively captures and eliminates moisture throughout the molding process. It exhibits excellent compatibility with polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) resins. Suitable for use with both virgin and recycled materials—including moisture-affected plastics—this product helps enhance product quality, increase production yield, improve processing efficiency, and reduce energy consumption. It is non-toxic, non-irritating, and environmentally safe.

Applications

Ideal for a variety of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) molding processes, including blow molding and injection molding.

Usage Guidelines:
1. Inspect the inner bag before use—do not use if packaging is compromised
2. Use entirely within 48 hours after opening the sealed inner bag
3. Recommended dosage: 1% to 3% by weight
4. Can be directly dry-blended with plastic raw materials
5. Should not be dried together with recycled plastic pellets

Packaging & Storage:
1. Handle with care to avoid damaging the packaging
2. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and moisture
3. Maximum unopened shelf life: 6 months under recommended storage conditions
