Our advanced LDI laser digital imaging technology processes data files directly through DPX conversion, transforming them into precise images. Laser beams are transmitted to plates via DMD and lens systems, delivering exceptional performance for carrier plates, soft plates, HDI plates, and multilayer applications.
Laser Direct Imaging Technology Overview
In PCB fabrication, circuit traces are defined through the imaging process. Laser Direct Imaging exposes traces directly using a highly focused, numerically controlled laser beam, eliminating the need for traditional photo tools and flooded light exposure.
How LDI Technology Works
The process begins with a PCB featuring a photo-sensitive surface positioned under a computer-controlled laser. The system scans the board surface into a raster image, matching it against pre-loaded CAD or CAM design files containing the required specifications. The laser then directly creates the precise image on the board surface.
