LDI Process Flow
- Apply resist coating to copper laminate
- Expose PCB pattern directly onto resist using laser
- Develop unexposed resist areas
- Etch exposed copper to define circuit traces
How Laser Direct Imaging Works
The DPX230 system uses computer-controlled laser technology to digitally create circuit patterns directly on photo-sensitive PCB surfaces. The laser beam, precisely controlled by NC systems, scans the board surface and matches pre-loaded CAD/CAM design files to produce accurate circuit images without physical photo tools.
