GYTS Light-Armored Cable – Steel Tape Armored, Water-Blocking, PE Sheath for Long-Haul Telecom
The GYTS stranded loose tube light-armored cable is a high-performance outdoor optical cable engineered for long-haul telecommunications, metropolitan area networks, CATV systems, and computer network transmission. Featuring 250μm optical fibers precisely placed into PBT loose tubes filled with waterproof compound, this cable provides critical protection against moisture ingress.
A central metal strength member (single steel wire) serves as the cable's core, with additional polyethylene protection for certain fiber count configurations. The loose tubes are stranded around the central strength member in an SZ helical lay, forming a compact and round cable core. All interstices are filled with water-blocking compound to ensure full-section water resistance.
