Installation and Maintenance
1. Installation: Installing the FD 412 - 22 DS air spring is relatively simple. First, ensure the mounting surface is clean and level. Next, align the holes in the air spring cover with the corresponding holes in the mounting bracket. Secure the air spring using the appropriate screws (4 x M10). Then, connect the air supply to the G1/2 air nozzle and always check for leaks before use.
2. Maintenance: Air springs require minimal maintenance. Regularly inspect the rubber bellows for damage such as cracks, cuts, or dents. If damaged, the air spring should be replaced immediately. Also, regularly check the air pressure in the bellows using a suitable pressure gauge. For optimal performance, the air pressure should be within the recommended range. Keep the air nozzle clean and free of debris to ensure proper airflow.
