Product Specifications
- This single convoluted air spring is manufactured from high-quality natural rubber with steel cover plates. It features a minimum compressed height of 55 mm, a maximum extended height of 160 mm, and a working stroke of 105 mm.
- For the 1B5330 model, the cover plate diameter is 289 mm, and the center-to-center distance is 157.5 mm. When the air pressure reaches 0.7 MPa, the maximum outer diameter of the rubber component reaches 325 mm.
- The industrial convoluted rubber air spring operates via gas filling. Its air connection is 1/4 NPTF, and the screw nut size is 2×3/8-16 UNC.

The Applications of Air Spring Assembly
Air springs provide unique solutions in many drive and vibration isolation applications around the world. In addition to the common uses, there are many less well-known uses due to the special structure.
1. Impact Isolation
Air springs are often used to isolate impact forces. Air springs are often used in sawmills to absorb the impact of falling logs and to lift logs onto conveyors. Air springs are best suited for such applications because they have the properties of both springs and rubber. Without such shock absorption, the equipment and its surrounding structures would suffer premature fatigue damage due to the frequent impact of falling logs.
2. Protective Covers and Flexible Couplings
Air spring bellows with rim ring structure can be used as protective covers or flexible couplings. Due to their flexible structure and ability to allow eccentric and torsional movement, air springs are the best solution for protective covers and flexible couplings. Considering the protection of the inner surface of the air spring from the influence of flowing materials, an internal sleeve is required.
3. Cam Follower
Introducing air springs into cam followers can greatly increase the life of the cam. The air spring eliminates the rigid contact and friction of the traditional cam follower, thereby significantly reducing the wear on the cam surface, and also makes the cam mechanism run smoother, reducing fatigue damage to the entire mechanism.
