Flanged airbags are typically made of rubber and inflated to form a pneumatic support system. They are externally fitted with flange interfaces for easy connection to machinery or pipelines. By adjusting the inflation pressure, the airbag provides flexible support, effectively absorbing and attenuating high-frequency vibrations, thereby reducing vibration transmission and improving work efficiency and equipment lifespan.
The working principle of a flanged airbag is primarily based on the compressibility of gas and the elasticity of rubber. When the airbag is inflated, it expands and forms a certain elastic force. When equipment generates high-frequency vibrations, the air pressure inside the airbag effectively absorbs vibration energy through compression and expansion, thus reducing the impact of vibration on other parts of the equipment.
