Air Bag Installation and Safety Guidelines
1. Ensure Sufficient Clearance
When installing air bellows, make sure there is enough clearance around the bellow to prevent contact with surrounding parts. The full surface of metal components should be used to bear operational forces.
2. Use Lateral Guides
Air springs must always be equipped with lateral guides to maintain proper alignment during compression and expansion, ensuring reliable performance and preventing damage.
3. Safe Removal and Deflation
Always fully deflate air bellows before attempting to remove them. This prevents accidental injury and protects the integrity of the bellow.
4. Avoid Contact with Harmful Substances
Ensure the air bellow does not come into constant contact with hydraulic oil, lubricants, solvents, metal shavings, or welding sparks, which can degrade the material and reduce service life.
5. Special Media Applications
If the air springs will be exposed to special fluids, chemicals, or media, contact Precision Engineering for guidance. Provide details about the medium, temperature, and concentration to ensure safe and effective operation.
