Junbond^® JB-16 is a one-component polyurethane adhesive-sealer for pasting windshields where an increased safety guarantee is not required. It is used for fixing the front, rear and side windows to the bodies of cars, vans, railway transport and special purpose vehicles.

Junbond^® JB-16 Windshield Polyurethane Sealant an isocyanate-free, high modulus,non conductive, thixotropic, single component modified polyurethane adhesive, which polymerizes rapidly under the effect of atmospheric moisture. It has been specially designed for bonding of fixed glass in automotive repair.

POLYURETHANE Adhesive Sealant is a component,
moisture curing polyurethane based adhesive for direct glazing in Automotive Glass Replacement
as well as constuction concrete caulking. It has high hardness, good toughness,
aging resistance and other characteristics,Curing rate is related to ambient temperature
and humidity, Rapid surface drying at high temperature or high humidity,
Low temperature and low humidity will slow surface drying and curing.

It allows a drive away time of 6 hours in vehicles with or without airbag.

*Providing the ambient temperature is at least 23°C and relative humidity 50 %.

At lower temperatures and humidities drive away time will be longer.

Application Areas:Bonding and sealing for windshield glass, glass fiber reinforced plastic fittings, steel and aluminum board of automobiles.

Direction for use

• Remove dust, oil and water from the surface of substrates.
• Application environment temperature 5~35℃, humidity 50~70%RH. When the temperature below 5℃, recommended place products in the environment of 30~40℃ for 1H (No more than 3H).
• For Construction method, please refer to PUSTAR construction description or consult technical personnel.
• Activator and primer are not required.

Transport and storage

• Transport: Keep away the sealed product from moisture, the sun, high temperature and avoid collisions.
• Storage: Keep sealed into cool, dry place.
• Storage temperature: 5~25℃. Humidity: ≤50%RH.
• Cartridge and Sausage 9 month, Pail 6 month.
