Product Description:
Fuyun non-woven fabric is made from a continuous polypropylene filament spun uniformly over a flat surface to make a flat, mat-like fiber. The crossed filaments are then thermally bonded together, rather than woven, into a tear-resistant material creating a filtration medium that offers excellent uniformity, puncture resistance and filtration efficiencies.
For civil nonwovens, the tensile strength and hydraulic properties of the fabrics are the critical values. As manufacturing methods improve, less fiber is required to maintain these values. As such, the value of a nonwoven geotextile’s weight in civil applications is of secondary importance. However, for environmental nonwoven geotextiles weight is a critical property.
