Product Description:

The product is hdpe uniaxial geogrid, which is made in Polypropylene (PP) in square apertures. High tensile strength and optimised geometry of ribs make it equal to any other similar material. The reinforcement of hdpe uniaxial geogrid lies mainly in confining soil and increasing its shearing resistance by a process of interlocking between the square ribs and the soil. The load dispersal effect from the interlocking mechanism is highly effective and can reduce sub-base thickness and construction cost. HDPE uniaxial geogrid can be used with any kind of mechanical fill material. Two aperture size ranges are available for optimum matching with project fill.

The material has very high tensile strength in two directions of longitudinal and transverse. This special structure providing a more effective bearing and diffusion of force in the soil is suitable for enhancing large area permanent bearing foundation.
