Biodegradable bag
Also known as green plastic, the biochemical process of complete or partial conversion into water, carbon dioxide/methane, energy and new biomass under the action of microorganisms (bacteria and fungi). Biodegradable plastic bags, according to the standard, require that the plastic bags can only be biodegraded under certain conditions, such as a temperature of 70 degrees and a sufficient CO2 environment. Therefore, when biodegradable plastic bags enter the environment specified in non-standards such as the ocean, they will reduce the biodegradable performance of the plastic bags. Therefore, select the appropriate biodegradable bag, and also dispose of the used bag under the appropriate environmental requirements.
Compared with ordinary plastic bags, the main difference between degradable plastic bags is that the former does not contain PE components in general garbage bags, but mainly uses lignin and biodegradable plastics extracted from straw.
However, degradable bags require strict conditions (water, temperature, reactor, etc.) to complete the degradation.
According to related research, when the pH value of the degradable bag is between 1-2 (strong acid) or 11-13 (strong base), it takes 1-2 months for the molecular chain to break (ie, complete the degradation).
