2K paint must be sprayed with hardener and thinner before spraying. This is a one-pass method. 2K acrylic car paint has its own brightness and no need to use varnish to increase gloss.

From the effect, 2K paint is better than 1K paint. 1K paint only serves as a base color and protects the surface of the paint film. The hardness of 2K is better than 1K. It can be used for partial spraying of new cars or repairing of old cars.

► 1K & 2K Car Paint Different

The differences are as follows:

　　 1k acrylic car paint can only be a one-component, the more popular is the original paint thinner, and then spray.

　　 2k acrylic car paint is also a two-component, popular one is the original paint, curing agent, thinner, and then spraying.

　　 is not allowed to be mixed together. It can be used as primer 1k and topcoat 2k, but it is never allowed to have both 1k and 2k in the primer or topcoat.

► Surface Treatment

Old paint film that has been hardened and polished, the surface should be dry and free of impurities such as grease.

► Construction Condition

1. Base temperature is not less than 5°C,the relative humidity of 85% (temperature and relative humidity should be measured near the base material),fog, rain , snow, wind and rain is strictly prohibited construction.

2. Before painting the paint, clean the coated surface to avoid impurities and oil.

3. The product can be sprayed, it is recommended to spray with special equipment. The nozzle diameter is 1.2-1.5mm,the film thickness is 40-60um.

► Allocation Method

1. 1K Car Paint.

1K Car paint can be directly added to the thinner for spraying, and the mixing ratio with 1K game thinner is 1:1, and no curing agent is required. The 1K paint shows a matte state after being sprayed and dried, so it must be sprayed directly on the surface of the base color paint after mixing with varnish, curing agent, and thinner.

2. 2K Car Paint.

Before using 2K paint for spraying, add curing agent and thinner before spraying. 2K paint has its own brightness, no need to use varnish to increase gloss. From the effect of spraying, 2K paint is better than 1K paint. 1K paint only serves as a base color and protects the surface of the paint film. In terms of hardness, 2K paint is better than 1K paint.
