Non-insulated Ripple Blowing PTC Air Heater 1000W designed for air conditioners, air curtains, temperature rise applications, dehumidifiers, and mushroom cooling systems.
PTC Heater Types
- Blowing PTC Air Heater: Insulated heater with wave radiator, non-insulated heater with wave radiator, insulated heater with inserted foil radiator, insulated heater with comb radiator, heater for compressed air
- PTC Air Heater with Fan: Non-insulated heater with fan, insulated heater with fan
- Convection PTC Air Heater: No fan required - heat dispersed by air convection
- Temperature Controlled PTC Air Heater: Includes temperature control unit with ±2℃ tolerance
Application Examples
- Blowing Type: Room heaters, bathroom heaters, air conditioner heaters, drying room heaters, clothes dryers, hand dryers, battery discharging load
- Convection Type: Moisture and dew protection for electronic equipment, heating for electronic control cases, room heaters
Application Guidelines
Blowing Air Heater Considerations
- Requires a fan for operation - faster air speed typically results in higher power output
- Inform manufacturer if intended for very low ambient temperatures or strong air blowing conditions
- PTC heater will not be damaged without air blowing, but power output will be very low
- Power can be adjusted via air blowing speed, applied voltage, or number of heaters
- Surface temperature without blowing is significantly higher - thermostat can be added for protection
- Outlet air temperature depends on surface temperature, intake air temperature, and air speed (typically 80-110℃)
- Non-insulated PTC air heater radiator is electrified
- Higher surface temperature increases power but reduces reliability and lifespan
Convection PTC Air Heater Considerations
- Heating power depends on assembly methods and heater orientation
- Ensure adequate air flow for proper heat dissipation
- Power increases when heater is mounted on metal holder
