The PPTC resettable fuse operates based on energy dynamic equilibrium. Under normal conditions, the device maintains low resistance and temperature. When current or ambient temperature rises beyond critical thresholds, the device rapidly transitions to high resistance state, limiting current flow and protecting the circuit. Once the fault condition is removed, the device automatically resets to its low resistance state.
