NEC DYE Microtemp AUPO Emerson Thermal Cutoff Fuse
The NEC DYE Microtemp AUPO Emerson Cross Thermal Cutoff Fuse is a non-resettable protective device designed for electrical equipment safety. This thermal cutoff (TCO) features a 10KA breaking capacity, 250V rated voltage, and 150°C operating temperature with auto-reset functionality.
Product Overview
Thermal Cutoff (TCO) devices are single-use protective components that permanently disconnect electrical circuits when temperatures exceed safe operating limits. The device consists of fusible alloy, flux, plastic or ceramic casing, sealant epoxy, and lead wires.
Operation Principle
Under normal conditions, the fusible alloy maintains electrical continuity between lead wires. When ambient temperature reaches the specified fusing temperature (150°C), the alloy melts and retracts to the wire ends, permanently opening the circuit.
