Surface Mount CMF Chip NTC Thermistor Overview
NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) Thermistors are heat-sensitive semiconductor resistors whose resistance decreases as temperature increases. With a temperature coefficient of resistance ranging from -2%/k to -6%/k (approximately 10 times that of metal), these components respond to both environmental temperature changes and self-heating from current flow.
