Handling Guidelines
PTC components must not be dropped or subjected to impacts that could cause chip-offs. Avoid touching ceramic and metallization surfaces with bare hands; gloves are recommended. Prevent surface contamination during handling procedures.
Soldering Recommendations
Use rosin-type or non-activated flux only. Ensure proper preheating to prevent ceramic cracks. Avoid rapid cooling by solvent dipping. Complete flux removal is recommended. Note that standard PTC heaters are not suitable for soldering applications.
