CB Approved Axial Leaded Thermal Cutoff Fuse
This thermal cutoff fuse is a temperature-sensing circuit protection device designed to prevent overheating in electrical appliances. It features one-time operation at a predetermined temperature, permanently cutting off electrical power to avoid fire hazards.

Operating Principle
The thermal cutoff utilizes a specially formulated non-conductive pellet that holds spring-loaded contacts closed during normal operation. When the predetermined temperature is reached, the pellet melts, allowing the spring mechanism to open the circuit permanently.
