   Ferro-manganese is used mainly in the steel industry for hardening and desulphurisation of steel and as a deoxidizer, making the slag more fluid.

Function and characteristics of nodulating

Application

    The spheroidizing temperature is one of the important factors that determine the absorption rate of magnesium. The lower the treatment temperature, the better the absorption rate of magnesium. However, in order to ensure a certain pouring temperature, the treatment temperature should be between 1450 ℃ and 1500 ℃.

    If the same molten iron ladle is used for continuous treatment, although the molten iron ladle is preheated, the molten iron should be raised by 20-30 degrees and returned to the usual treatment temperature from the third and fourth times, so that stable results can be obtained.

    In the injection of molten iron need to pay attention not to let the molten iron directly into the concave weight, and should control the punching process in a short time, let the nodulating agent reaction while pouring into the molten iron, should avoid in the nodulating agent reaction after the end of the continued pouring into the molten iron.
