Product Description
1. Silicon slag (off grade silicon) is a by-product when making silicon metal.
2. Siliocn slag is from 40% to95%, and the rest are C, S, P, Al, SiO2, Fe, Ca etc.
3. Silicon slag is much cheaper than purity silicon metal, and has many industrial applications.
Application
1. Silicon content from 30~50% is used as silicon addition for iron making in the blast furnace and cupola.
2. Silicon content from 50~70% is used as deoxidization of steel making.
3. Silicon slag can also be used to produce silicon briquette,which has a uniform size for application.
4. Silicon slag is a good substitute of Ferro silicon in steel making, which has advantage in reducing the cost of production.
