Olycom 10/100M POE copper to fiber media converter helps 

 

  1. provide IEEE 802.3af Power Sourcing Ethernet (PSE) functionality on the twisted pair port
  2. supply both data and electric current to devices such as WiFi access points, VoIP phones and IP security cameras

Network managers can install Powered Devices (PD) anywhere around the LAN or enterprise campus by using multi-mode or single-mode fiber optic cabling
