Modal is an artificial textile fiber obtained from the spinning of cellulose extracted from beech trees. Modal part of the viscose
family, it is a variety of Rayon originally developed in Japan in 1951 and marketed in the form of "artificial silk".
Modal has an incredibly soft touch. Breathable Fabric: Modal is great for sportswear, base layers, t-shirts and underwear as
the fabric's weave is very breathable. Water absorbent: Modal is 50% more absorbent than cotton.. Durable: Modal is very
strong because of the tight weave and the long fibres.
Modal fabrics has very good softness and hygroscopicity with poor fabric stiffness, which is now mostly used in underwear
production. Modal has a silvery luster, excellent colorability and bright color after dyeing, suitable for making coats.
