Reaction bonded silicon nitride (RBSN), molding with ultra-fine high purity industrial silicon powder, formed direct nitridation with nitrogen at 1500 °C. The material is less than five thousandths of deformation, can be made into more complex shapes of structure. Self-lubricating , resistance to the erosion of molten non-ferrous metals (such as liquid aluminum and zinc etc.), and excellent thermal shock resistance.
