Sapphire Windows plate is a flat plate with two parallel or wedge-shaped faces, usually used as a protective window for an electronic sensor or a detector of the external environment.
Window slices do not change the magnification of the system.
The base materials include all kinds of sapphire, optical glass, K9, UV fused quartz, infrared fused quartz and crystal materials such as calcium fluoride (CaF2), magnesium fluoride (MgF2), zinc selenide (ZnSe), germanium (Ge), silicon (Si), and provide anti-reflection film, high reflective film, splitting film, metal film and other optical coatings.
Broadband antireflection film can be used in ultraviolet, visible, near infrared and mid-infrared bands.
Sapphire window plate is a flat polishing product processed based on single crystal sapphire. Sapphire protective window plate is a special window plate used to protect the observer, the inside of the instrument and the inside of the container by using the pressure resistance, wear resistance and high temperature resistance of sapphire.
Single crystal sapphire window plates are ideal for demanding applications such as laser systems because of their extremely high surface hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric constant, and resistance to chemical acids and bases.
Because sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness, and its structural strength is very high, so the thickness of sapphire window plate made by enhanced light transmittance is thinner than that of ordinary high dielectric window plate.
Chemically, sapphire is single-crystal aluminum oxide (Al2O3), well suited for transport between 0.2 and 5.5μm.
