Si single crystal windows D20*3 single plated sample

 

Silicon lens is normally used in the 5-14µm wavelength range, ideal element for IR applications, high thermal conductivity or low weight are considered as critical features in boeth IR and FTIR systems with refractive index 3.4 throughout the range.

We could also produce with 3-300mm in diameter silicon lenses with AR coating or multi -layercoating. Coating parameters can be provided based on your inquiry

 

MAP OPTICS' Precision Aspheric Lenses are ground and polished by a computer numerical control (CNC) process. CNC polishing produces lenses with better surface irregularity, surface flatness, and focal length deviation than molded aspheric lenses. Using CNC machines, it becomes possible to produce large-diameter (≥10 mm) aspheric lenses that still provide high performance.

 

 

AR Coating Options
While our uncoated UV fused silica lenses offer near-diffraction-limited performance over a wide spectral range, improved transmission can be gained by choosing a lens with an antireflective coating.

 

Optical Performance Verification
Each lens undergoes a rigorous verification procedure. Our metrology lab uses Zygo Verifire™, NewView™, and GPI™ interferometers to generate a three-dimensional map of the lens's optical surfaces in a contact-free geometry. In addition, a PGI Dimension 5XL profilometer allows for contact measurements of optics. These capabilities allow us to measure and maintain our specifications with far greater confidence than would otherwise be possible. 

 

Map Optical offers non-coated and coated anti-reflection lenses with aspheric surfaces.
Antireflection membrane options include IR1, NIR2.
Zinc selenide based sheets are suitable for infrared applications.
Aspheric lens can well correct spherical aberration and chromatic aberration, and it is often used in barcode scanning, laser collimation, optical imaging and other fields.
Aspheric lenses are designed with a single element, which helps to minimize the number of lenses in multi-lens optical fittings.
