Product Description
Multi Effect Thermal Vapor Recompression Evaporation System
High quality multiple effect machine with thermal vapor recompression (TVR) crystallization plant technology for industrial evaporation applications.
Energy Efficient TVR Technology
Multi-effect falling film evaporators with thermal vapour recompression (TVR) deliver exceptional value and superior energy efficiency. The thermo-compressor utilizes high-pressure steam to mix with low-pressure vapors, effectively substituting one or two evaporator columns compared to standard multi-effect evaporators. This innovative design reduces specific steam consumption by 20-50%.
Application Range
The Falling Film TVR Evaporator provides fully automatic, continuous evaporation capabilities suitable for diverse product ranges. Each system is custom-designed to accommodate specific product compositions and capacity requirements.
System Highlights
- Extended production runs through high hygienic standards
- Proven, reliable technology
- Fully cleanable with integrated Cleaning in Place (CIP) systems
Working Principle
Product enters from the wet process area into a balance tank, where it's heated to the boiling temperature of the first calandria. Heating methods include plate heat exchangers, tubular heat exchangers, or direct heaters using condensate, excess vapors, steam, or hot water. The falling film principle ensures product and vapor flow downward through tubes, with concentrate separation occurring at the bottom. Concentrated product progresses through multiple passes, with final concentration determined by product-specific requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between MVR and TVR evaporators?
MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) uses electricity as energy source with very low consumption. TVR (Thermal Vapor Recompression) uses steam, with consumption dependent on evaporation stages.
Why use a Falling Film evaporator?
Falling film evaporators provide gentle water removal with exceptional energy efficiency and compact footprint for high evaporation rates.
How high can you achieve in total solids?
Total solids capacity depends on product type, with stickiness and viscosity being determining factors for each specific application.
Does viscosity impact evaporator operation?
Yes, viscosity is critical for effective evaporation - products must remain pumpable throughout the process.
What products can run on falling film evaporators?
Almost all pumpable liquids and soluble products are suitable for falling film evaporation systems.
