Designed for continuous concentration and mother-liquor recovery, this 15,000 kg/h three-effect falling film evaporator delivers high throughput with low specific steam consumption. Operating under vacuum with staged effects, the system reuses latent heat to minimize utilities while protecting heat-sensitive actives, intermediates, and APIs.

Process Overview

  • Separation & Control: Vapor-liquid separators ensure clean condensate; inline density or refractometer governs discharge/recycle
  • Vacuum & Condensing: Final vapors condense in surface condenser; non-condensables removed by vacuum system
