Operating under vacuum with staged effects, the system reuses latent heat to minimize utilities while protecting heat-sensitive actives, intermediates, and APIs.

Process Overview
- Feed & Preheat: Metered feed is preheated via condensate/heat recovery to reduce live steam consumption
- Effect 1: Live steam heats E1; generated vapor becomes heating medium for E2
- Effect 2 & 3: Successively lower pressures and temperatures maintain gentle boiling and high overall ΔT utilization
- Separation & Control: Vapor-liquid separators ensure clean condensate; inline density or refractometer governs discharge/recycle
- Vacuum & Condensing: Final vapors condense in surface condenser; non-condensables removed by vacuum system
