Stainless Steel Multi-Effect Evaporator System
The Stainless Steel Multi-Effect Evaporator (MEE) from Hanpu is designed for energy-efficient concentration and salt crystallization across chemical, food, pharma, and wastewater applications. Built in SS304 / SS316L with optional Duplex 2205/2507 or Titanium for harsh brines, it delivers reliable performance, clean condensate recovery, and automated operation.
Durable, Hygienic Construction
All product-wetted parts in stainless steel with sanitary, mirror-polished tubes minimize fouling and simplify CIP.
High Steam Economy
Cascaded effects reuse latent heat. Typical performance: 1 kg steam evaporates 3.5–4.0 kg water (TVR/MVR options for further savings).
Stable, Automated Quality
PLC/HMI control with density/vacuum/flow feedback ensures consistent concentration, crystal size, and throughput.
Process Overview — Falling-Film Multi-Effect with Vacuum Crystallization
- Feed & Preheat: Raw liquor is metered to the 1st-effect heater via preheaters.
- Effect 1 → Effect 2 → Effect 3: Live steam heats Effect 1; its vapor heats Effect 2; Effect 2 vapor heats Effect 3 under reduced pressure and temperature.
- Concentration Control: Online density/conductivity triggers discharge or recycle to meet targets.
- Vacuum Crystallization (optional): Concentrate flashes/boils under vacuum to form crystals (e.g., NaCl); solids separated via centrifuge or filter.
- Condensation & Utilities: Final vapor condenses in the condenser; clean condensate recovered; non-condensables removed by vacuum pump.
System Structure
Multi-effect heaters & separators, preheaters, condenser & vacuum set, feed/circulation/discharge/condensate pumps, crystallizer (optional) and centrifuge, CIP skid, instrumentation (T/P/level/flow/vacuum/conductivity), and PLC/HMI historian.
