MVR Falling Film Evaporator System Overview
The DSS2205 MVR Falling Film Plate Evaporator System is specifically engineered for reverse osmosis wastewater treatment applications where calcium and magnesium ion concentrations are below 50ppm. This advanced evaporation technology delivers efficient concentration and crystallization for industrial wastewater streams.
Working Principle
In falling film evaporation, feed liquid enters from the upper tube box and is evenly distributed through specialized film-forming devices into heat exchange tubes. The liquid flows downward as a uniform film under gravity, vacuum induction, and airflow. During descent, it is heated and vaporized by shell-side heating medium. The resulting vapor-liquid mixture enters the separation chamber where complete phase separation occurs, with vapor proceeding to condensation or serving as heating medium in multi-effect operations.
