Extrusion Blow Molding Process
In Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM), plastic is melted and extruded into a hollow parison, which is then captured in a cooled metal mold. Air is blown into the parison, inflating it to form hollow containers or parts. This low-pressure process (25-150 psi) produces economical containers with surface finishes from high gloss to textured, offering excellent resistance to strain and environmental stress cracking.
