These modules fall in to the category of ‘light engines’ as they have very high lumen efficiency and are designed as a primary light source for a luminaire.
Luminaires types could include panels, discrete linear or continuous linear fittings and also for retro-fitting in to older generation lighting.
Two main types of modules are available:
Constant Current
These modules offer the highest lumen efficiency and are physically Zhaga compliant with most also being optically compliant.
Constant Voltage
These modules also offer high lumen efficiency with a greater physical flexibility as they are supplied in 1 metre lengths which can be cut every 100mm.
Both types of modules can be supplied as single or double row LED to increase the area of illumination and give a higher light output.
