This disposable inactivated virus transfer medium(disposable inactivated VTM) is intended to be used with the medium tubes and swabs provided in this product. This product is colorless, transparent, non-precipitating liquid. When collect specimens with this inactivated virus transfer medium, the tubes can be transported to the laboratory at room temperature(5-25ºC) within 7 days. It's better with ice bag. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For the best performance, complete testing within 24 hours in controlled temperature environment.

This disposable inactivated virus transfer medium(disposable inactivated VTM) fully mixes the collected samples with viral lysate and viral nucleic acid preservation solution to realize the inactivation of viruses in the samples, and effectively guarantees the integrity of viral nucleic acid in the samples. The collected samples can be transported under normal temperature conditions. It is suitable for the collection, transportation and storage of the new virus, influenza, avian influenza, HPV and other virus samples at room temperature.
