SS316 is a stainless steel with molybdenum. The overall performance of the steel is better than that of 310 and 304 stainless steel. Under high temperature conditions, when the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than 15% and higher than 85%, the material composition of 316SS stainless steel is as follows :C 0.08 maximum, Mn 2.0 maximum, P 0.045 maximum, S0.03 maximum, Si 1.0 maximum. Cr 16.0 to 18.0, Ni10.0 to 14.0, Mo 2.0 to 3.0, N 0.1 the largest, Fe the rest.
