Production process:
General steps: plate - Pickling - cold drawing - cold upsetting.

1. The disc element is made of steel embryo by heating and rolling. The high carbon, medium carbon and low carbon disc elements are classified according to the carbon content. The high carbon disc element is the one with carbon content more than 0.45%, the medium carbon disc element is the one with carbon content between 0.22% and 0.45%, and the low carbon disc element is the one with carbon content less than 0.22%. When the raw material of disc element is processed to produce nut, it is easy to break. Therefore, the material must be softened by heat treatment to make its metallographic structure spheroidized, which can withstand the stamping during processing. The treated wire is spheroidized wire.
2. Acid pickling uses acid solution to remove oxide scale and rust on steel surface.
3. Cold drawing and cold upsetting need special equipment.
