This DVI-D active Fiber Optic cable solution is specially designed for high performance and long distance signal extension. The DVI connectors electro-optical components, and the fiber optic cable are integrated as one assembly, providing ease of installation, increased reliability, and better performance by eliminating the interconnections. This active cable can be powered through the DVI connector or via the included power supply in case the video source has insufficient power to drive the 5V signal lines within the cable. HDTV Extreme cables are HDCP compliant.
