Steel fibers can be made of steel wire , or glass fiber , Polyethylene . Then tensile strength ranges from 1000Mpa to 2850Mpa.
Adopting steel fibers into the concrete mix provide new mechanical properties. The fibers can be included as a substitute for the common steel reinforcement, or as a complement, or for a better performance for strain that the common reinforcement can't absorb
