Micro steel fiber Introduction

Micro Steel Fibre is used in High Performance densified concrete system.
They are available in different diameter & length sizes,mostly are 0.2mm ,0.3mm in diameter and length in 6mm and 13mm.

Micro steel fibers are made of copper-coated steel wire which is the most important materials of UHPC. Because UHPC has the
features of extreme high strength. It is a good and a new kind of construction materials. Micro steel fiber is widely used in the
high speed railway slab, expressway, RPC coverplates and UHPC constructional components.

Dosage of Micro Steel Fiber

Steel fiber dosage will vary greatly upon the project intended use, and the types of mesh being replaced.
Common dosages are in the range between 20-30kg/m3 to 40-60kg/m3 for joint-less floors.
