1. Identify Ends: Determine the male-threaded end and the female-threaded end.
2. Install Male Thread: Screw the male thread into a pre-tapped hole in the chassis, base PCB, or a threaded insert. Use a hex wrench of the correct size to tighten securely.
3. Stack Components: Place the board or component that needs to be spaced over the installed standoff.
4. Secure Assembly: Insert a machine screw through the component and into the female thread of the standoff.
5. (Optional) Stacking: For additional height, another standoff can be screwed into the female thread of the first one.
