DDM350B DDM360B 3D Dynamic Electronic Compass with ±85° Tilt Compensation for Marine Navigation
The DDM350B/DDM360B is a three-dimensional dynamic electronic compass that integrates a 9-axis inertial measurement unit, including a three-axis accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, and three-axis fluxgate. Utilizing the high dynamic angle characteristics of the gyroscope and the highly stable attitude characteristics of the accelerometer, the system obtains pitch and roll angles that follow complex attitude changes through dynamic inertial navigation algorithms.
The geomagnetic azimuth angle employs hard magnetic and soft magnetic calibration algorithms, enabling the compass to eliminate magnetic field interference through calibration even in environments with magnetic field disturbances. The heading is calculated in real-time by the central processor, with dynamic pitch and roll angles used for dynamic heading compensation across a wide range of magnetic azimuths. This ensures the compass provides high-precision heading data even at tilt angles up to ±85°.
The electronic compass integrates a high-level DSP arithmetic processor with diversified output modes. Standard interfaces include RS232/RS485/TTL, with other high-vibration communication interfaces available as custom options. The DDM350B/DDM360B features compact dimensions and low power consumption, making it suitable for marine vessels, antennas and satellites, commercial drones, and other extremely harsh environments. It is particularly well-suited for today's various high-precision measurement integrated control systems.
